Marie McCray was born in Indianapolis, Indiana and was exotic dancing and studying accounting at Indiana University at the same time when she entered the porn industry in 2007 at age 22. While she stripped at Indianapolis clubs straight out of high school, she was also featured on a website called One Model Place and did nude art and fantasy portraits. It was her portfolio on the site that got her a call from an adult agency in Florida who offered her a chance to do pornographic videos. After giving it some thought, McCray traveled down to Florida to make her debut on Naughty America’s “Handjobs Across America” website. Loving the experience and the relatively easy paycheck, McCray went on to work for several other internet porn sites for the Pink Visual and Meat Members networks in 2007 before scoring her first film feature in 2008, VCX’s “Angel Face” which earned her a 2009 AVN Award nomination for Best Actress as well as a 2008 CAVR Award nomination for Starlet of the Year. Meanwhile, her acclaimed work on that film further secured her gigs with major adult studios such as Vivid, Adam & Eve, New Sensations, Wicked Pictures, Hustler Video and Penthouse in 2008 to 2009.

Since then, McCray continued to perform in many reality porn sites for BangBros, Brazzers, Pink Visual, Hustler, Naughty America, and Porn.com among others. She also spread her workload among features, gonzo, and the newly popular porn parody genre. In 2011, she received an AVN Award nomination for Most Outrageous Sex Scene in “Rocco's Bitch Party 2” and a 2012 AVN Award nomination for Best Group Sex Scene “Orgy: The XXX Championship.”

Outside of porn films, McCray also appeared in men’s magazines and was once a Hustler centerfold. She is married to fellow porn actor, Bobby Vanilla.
