Minori Aoi (葵 みのり Aoi Minori, born March 28, 1980) is a Japanese gravure and AV idol best known for her cosplay-genre AV work. Her career began in 1999 and completed around 42 films before retiring in 2004.

Born in Tokyo, Minori Aoi was a varsity tennis player in secondary school and high school. In February 1999, after being scouted by AV agents, she made her AV debut Cosmos Plan label’s “Pure Heart”. Although Aoi recalls the experience being traumatic and “…definitely not something I could recommend to my fans,” she soldiered on in the industry, making her second feature for Cosmos Plan, “Baby Kiss” just a month later. In her first year as an AV idol, Aoi quickly developed a penchant for cosplay and fantasy role-playing performances in which she played characters ranging from a nurse, angel, and princess-slave.

Aoi quickly became a popular adult video, photo book, and gravure model. However, even after her success, she retained her ambivalent attitude towards the AV profession and retired from the industry briefly in 2000. She returned to AV filming in March 2001 in the video “Minori Aoi - Underground Job” and then in the bondage flick “Confinement” (April 2001). Before June 2001, Aoi had been working primarily with Cosmos Plan; since then, however she had begun making videos for other AV studios such as SexiA’s oral sex instructional video “I Want To Fellatio.” In November 2003, Cosmos Plan released three DVD compilation volumes of Aoi’s work and released her final film, “COSMOS Tied-up Angel DX” before she retired from the business in 2004 for good.
